In general please follow the format as it appears in the rest of the bibliography as closely as possible.

Author/s

The authors should be entered in the format:
Family-Name comma space Initials (- each followed by a full stop).
If there is more than one author the entries for each author should be separated by commas, apart from the last two who are separated by the 'and'. If the 'authors' are actually editors or 'compilers this should be indicated in brackets in full i.e. (Editor) not (Ed.).

The date field should contain the year of the publication.

Reference Details

The reference field contains the details of the reference, including the title of the article, publication title, page span and publishers. Please see the main bibliography for an example of a reference that is similar in nature to the one you are entering (e.g. journal article, book review, book contribution etc.) and copy the formatting.

Submitting the Form

If your web browser is configured correctly pressing the submit button will cause the form to be e-mailed to me for inclusion in the bibliography. Your web browser will show you a warning box after you press the button as this process will reveal your e-mail address to me. There is no greater security risk than sending me a conventional e-mail however.

Your submission will be processed and the bibliography updated as soon as possible - typically within a week.

If your reference does not appear in the main bibliography please e-mail me (John Farrar).

Pressing 'Reset' will clear the form without sending it anywhere.
